’s solution – Cost of Enterprise Learning Management application – is designed to provide calculations for both the development stage of training courses (Course Types) and the delivery stage (Course). The calculations are based on a hierarchical cost model that offers:

o default cost values attached to the various business objects of the organizational schema

o depreciation models for the Course Type development costs

o adjustments that can apply to Course Type or Course actual costs

o development or delivery costs recorded using ’s Data Entry module.

The cost model of Enterprise Learning development and delivery are fully user configurable. The wizard-based interface allows business users to include /exclude cost categories and cost types inside the category, select depreciation and calculation formulas, and set coefficients and default values. The application allows integration of all existing data that is required by each category of the cost calculation. Depending on the customer configuration, the data can be linked or dynamically retrieved from multiple sources. For the missing data, new transactional database storage and data entry interfaces are created automatically.

The Cost of E-Learning Management application includes standard parameterized reports to present various summaries and groupings of the categorized costs for a selected time period. Special reports can be added per customer request during the implementation.

Ad hoc reporting capability is provided by the Costs Analyzer. The users can select multiple nested groupings using all data relations starting with the “Course Type” or “Course” data object, as well as, different types of summary operations. A report can be viewed as a nested data grid, chart or in a print preview mode.

The planning modules (currently in development) will perform comparative analysis of training course development and delivery.
